You can learn to make a pilgrimage

Join Henk Murraij on Saturday April 20, 2024 for a walk that shows you the beautiful nature and historic buildings around Monastery Nazareth in Oirschot. The approx 10 kilometer route starts at the Koestraat 37 in Oirschot, in the chapel of the monastery and takes you past the 'Heilige Eik'. Light a light, enjoy nature and learn more about pilgrimage and monastic life in Brabant.
Participants are expected at 10 a.m. in the chapel of Monastery Nazareth for a special reception. Afterwards there will be coffee and sausage bread at 10.30 am in one of the oldest rooms of the monastery. We start the walk around 11.15 am. We will end this day at local brewery De Oirsprong around 3 p.m. with a free special beer. Participation in this day includes coffee, sausage bread, a special beer from Oirschot and the map of this monastery tour. View the route here.
