Maintenance of your facade garden
Your garden and the street will remain more beautiful if you maintain the facade garden properly.
-
The resident is responsible for maintenance. If this is not done properly, the municipality has the right to enforce it (addressing, pruning, or restoring it to the sidewalk).
-
Water the plants regularly. Even if it has rained, the area by the facade may still be dry.
-
Prune shrubs and climbing plants. This way, pedestrians won't be obstructed, and the plants won't reach windows, gutters, and light poles.
-
Remove faded flowers. This stimulates growth and flowering.
-
Remove weeds and litter regularly.
-
Occasionally fertilize the garden with good compost.
-
Avoid using chemical pesticides.
Rules for facade greenery
Of course, we hope that you're eager to get started with facade greenery. However, there are some rules you need to consider beforehand. Firstly, you must reside in the designated downtown area of Oirschot. We determine this based on a map. Check here for the basic rules.
