D-Keizer Bed & Breakfast
Our farm in Oirschot was built in the 1950s. Specifically for the Bed & Breakfast, we have completely renovated this part of the house. Our goal was to provide accommodation that is entirely self-sufficient in terms of electricity and CO2-neutral. In furnishing, we found it important to consider not only the ecological footprint and contemporary luxury but also to think about the historical elements that the house possesses. We have preserved or reused as much as possible the typical stained glass windows and traditional oak elements from the region. The use of black steel gives it a modern look.
More than 4000 kW of electricity is generated annually, specifically for the Bed & Breakfast, by our solar panels. Since we have an all-electric house, with underfloor heating in the bathrooms, an induction cooker in the kitchen, and electric heating in the bedrooms, this results in an energy A-class accommodation.
